The headlight guard protects the main headlight against stone chip damage when riding on terrain other than public roads. The guard is intended exclusively for off-road use and can be quickly and easily screwed on or unscrewed.

Does require removal of front fairing and body work to complete installation. Install by local BMW dealer is highly recommended. Not rocket science to install but is a little involved. We include printed installation instructions from BMW for this item.
Once brackets are mounted to the headlight guard can be easily removed to clean via the 4 pins it rests on when installed.
