Shipping Policy

BMW Motorcycles of Grand Rapids strives to process and ship orders quickly and reliably. Please review the following shipping terms before placing your order.

Shipping Regions

We currently ship within the United States only.

Carriers & Methods

Orders are shipped via USPS, UPS, or FedEx. Standard shipping is the default method.
If you require expedited service, please contact us directly at 616-530-6900. We cannot guarantee expedited delivery dates, and expedited orders must be arranged by phone.

Processing Times

  • In-stock items: Orders placed during business hours are typically processed the same day.
  • Available but not in-stock items: Fulfilled within 3–4 business days.
  • Orders placed near closing times or weekends: Please allow up to 3 business days before fulfillment.

Our store is closed after 3:00 PM Saturday, all day Sunday, and Monday. Orders placed during this period will begin processing on Tuesday.

Delivery Times

Standard shipping generally arrives within 3–5 business days after fulfillment, depending on location. Delivery times are estimates only and not guaranteed.

Shipping Costs

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on package weight and dimensional size.

Tracking

All shipped orders include a tracking number, which will be provided once the order has been fulfilled.

Delays & Liability

  • We are not responsible for carrier delays, weather events, or other circumstances beyond our control once an order has left our facility.
  • While we will do our best to accommodate typographical errors or incorrectly formatted addresses, we are not liable for misdelivery or delays caused by wrongfully entered addresses, phone numbers, or other contact information provided by the customer.

Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages

We take great care in preparing and shipping your order, but once a package leaves our facility it is the responsibility of the shipping carrier.

  • Lost Packages: If your tracking number shows delivered but you have not received your package, please contact the carrier directly to initiate a claim. Claims for lost or missing packages must be filed within 5 days of the delivery date.
  • Stolen Packages: We are not liable for packages stolen after confirmed delivery. If you believe your package has been stolen, please file a claim with the carrier and/or local authorities.
  • Damaged Packages: If your order arrives damaged, please retain all packaging materials and contact the carrier immediately to file a damage claim. We must also be notified within 48 hours of delivery so we can assist with documentation if needed.
  • Customer Responsibility: All claims must be filed by the customer directly with the carrier. We cannot guarantee replacement or reimbursement for lost, stolen, or damaged shipments.

Local Pickup

Customers may select free in-store pickup at checkout. All pickup orders must be collected within 30 days of purchase.

Pre-orders & Backorders

We generally ship orders once all items are available. Partial shipments may be arranged by phone request.

Taxes & Duties

We do not ship internationally. Customers are responsible for any applicable state sales taxes and duties.
